"Don’t just ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. What the world needs is people who have come alive."
- Howard Thurman
How it works
We provide all our coliving communities with a framework that enables 'free flow within a structure'.
- We have fixed rules like paying rent and not breaking the law.
- We have clear guidelines to support our communities in facilitation.
- We have strong values to help us recruit the most suitable candidates.
- The rest is up to you...
Tech Farm is a lifelong social experiment in building conscious communities.
Over five years of coliving experience and action research has taught us that there is no fixed formula for success. Building and maintaining a thriving community is a complex challenge which is constantly evolving.
Our members are global citizens with a drive to challenge themselves and the world. Our members nurture a culture of open transparent communication and have the courage to fix things rather than complaining about things not working.
We value “entrepreneurial problem solving” skills and we illustrate these skills with our in-house RIKA-method:
(R)Research, (I)Idea, (K)Concept, (A)Action.
R: Conscious: Am I aware of my needs? Am I true to myself in this moment?
Curious: What other perspectives can I learn from?
I: Courageous: Do I keep an open mind? How can I challenge myself?
Creative: Can I do this in a new way? Can I use less resources?
K: Communicative: Do I share my true thoughts and emotions?
Collaborative: Is there anyone else's needs that I can take into account?
A: Committed: Can I take action to improve my experience?
Compassionate: What impact does this have on people/the planet?
Our spaces are a part of a bigger vision for society...
We try to make life as fun and simple as possible by having cleaners and regular take-away dinners or an in-house chef. We also collectively pre-buy our groceries and cook together. We all take turns to host activities such as trips, yoga, startup events, cinema or whatever someone wants to initiate.
On the professional side we also take an active interest in each other’s work. We share connections, ideas, skills and also initiate collaborations. Many common projects have been born on the sofa and in the sauna, one of them being Tech Farm.
Welcome to our community

Our higher purpose is to create safe harbours where people can truly be themselves.
